REAV

Okamac: shaping the future of Mac refurbishment.

Okamac has been refurbishing Macs for fifteen years. Starting this autumn, REAV works alongside them on everything that surrounds the repair itself.

The company

Okamac is a pioneer in refurbished Mac, established in a competitive market. Philippe Correia and his team made a clear call: invest in the next stage of their industrial setup, through workshop organisation and company-wide tools.

REAV’s role, from this autumn, is to support that industrial programme, and a team that built everything itself over fifteen years and then decided to scale the operation.

They keep the bench. We take care of everything around it.

Repair remains Okamac’s. Their technicians are experts with fifteen years’ experience.

REAV works on what sits around the bench: workstation layout, product flow from stock to sale, how functions are steered, and the methods that make a high-volume Mac line more consistent.

What a single product line changes

Working on one vertical changes what can be built. A Mac-only line makes it possible to go further on generation-specific diagnosis and component-level cosmetic scoring. On a single product line you can score the screen, the topcase and the chassis separately, and let that drive both the price and the repair decision.

That level of detail matches what Mac buyers typically expect: finish, battery and consistency.

None of it would be possible without the technical depth Okamac already had. Deep product knowledge is what lets you build a precise industrial system on top of it.

Our perimeter

What REAV works on.

Four fronts, in parallel, with the people who run the floor every day.

Industrial support on the floor

At the workstation, with the technicians: bench layout, handling, and how a unit moves from one operation to the next, so the repair itself stays fluid.

Flow optimisation

From incoming stock to sale: what arrives, what waits, what should move next, and how to keep volume and value moving cleanly from one step to the next.

Internal organisation

So each function knows what it steers, with which tool, and on which rhythm.

Tools and methods

The information system, procedures and working methods that make a high-volume Mac line repeatable: same standard on a quiet day and in peak season.

The commitment

Eight workstreams. One rule: the work must hold after REAV steps back, not only while REAV is on the floor. That second half is the part that takes time, and it is the part this collaboration is built for.

We will publish numbers when there are numbers worth publishing, and when Okamac has validated them. Until then, this is a statement of scope.

Thanks to Philippe Correia for the trust and for the ambition he carries at Okamac, and to the whole team we have already started working with on the first workstreams.
